Liborio Solis
3/4 – Liborio Solis (19-3-1, 9 KO’s) vs. Ronald Barrera (30-13-2, 18 KO’s) – Fantastic Casino de Albrook Mall, Panama City, Panama
The former world super-flyweight champ, Solis continues to make inroads in the bantamweight division after vacating the WBA and IBF titles. Barrera’s failed in five attempts at world honors, and comes in off three losses.
*Solis won via 10 round decision
3/6 – Ana Julaton (13-4-1, 2 KO’s) vs. Yolanda Segura (16-9, 10 KO’s) II – Hotel Holiday Inn, Durango, Durango, Mexico
Julaton is a former WBO super bantamweight champion returning to the ring after nearly a year and a half away from the sport while she participated in mixed martial arts. This is the second meeting between her and Segura, a former regional title challenger coming in off three losses.
3/6 – Roy Jones Jr. (59-8, 42 KO’s) vs. Willie Williams (14-8-2, 4 KO’s) – Cabarrus Arena, Concord, North Carolina, USA
This is strictly a stay busy fight for Jones, who is looking forward to a date with Marco Huck later this year. This is his first fight in the U.S. since 2011; his WBU cruiserweight title isn’t on the line.
3/6 – Rau’shee Warren (12-0, 3 KO’s) vs. Javier Gallo (21-10-1, 12 KO’s) II – MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
This Friday Night Fight under card match is a rematch of a December bout that ended in the first round when an accidental head butt rendered Gallo unable to continue. Warren’s had little trouble at this stage and has barely lost a round. Gallo lost three prior bouts before his first meeting with Warren.
3/7 – Luis Lazarte (51-11-2, 18 KO’s) vs. Carlos Farias (12-8-2, 1 KO) – Ce.De.M. N° 2, Caseros, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Lazarte is a former IBF light flyweight champion that went inactive for over two years after a 2012 loss to John Riel Casimero. He came back in 2014 to win two contests over run of the mill opposition. Farias fits that bill as well, going winless in his last six bouts.
